Members of the AJSA enjoy being a part of one of the largest youth organizations in the beef industry. Since the association is member driven and led by a Junior Board of Directors, all Shorthorn juniors make a contribution to the future of the organization. Often acknowledged as “The Shorthorn Family,” members are enthusiastic about helping each other and working together to improve the breed. Many states have active state junior associations who work on yearlong projects and travel together to various Shorthorn functions. The one time $75 fee for membership entitles you to all the privileges of a regular member up until you reach December 31 the year you turn 22 years of age. The following day you can join the ASA as an adult member. As Junior Membership are a one time fee, it does NOT include the yearly subscription to the Shorthorn Country magazine.
